Shireen Lata is the Founder and Director of Positive Ability Care Pty Ltd, a registered NDIS provider based in Parramatta, NSW. Established in 2021, the organisation is dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centred care to people with disabilities and elderly clients, ensuring services are professional, tailored, and delivered with dignity.
Shireen brings over 10 years of combined experience in healthcare, disability, aged care, and education. She is an experienced Registered Nurse and Vocational Education and Training (VET) educator, equipping her workforce with the skills and confidence needed to provide safe, high-quality supports. She holds a Master of Nursing (Clinical Leadership) and a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Western Sydney, along with a Diploma of Community Services, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Ageing Support, and Certificate III in Medical Administration.
Her vision is to empower participants to live independently by recognising their abilities, promoting inclusion, and providing high-quality in-home supports. Shireen’s mission focuses on participant-centred care, fostering independence, and achieving meaningful outcomes for those she supports.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Shireen’s experience as an educator allows her to mentor, train, and assess her team effectively, ensuring that all staff deliver professional and compassionate care. Her leadership ensures Positive Ability Care maintains the highest standards while creating a supportive and skilled workforce.
