Specialist High Intensity supports include:
- Complex Bowel Care – Management of complex bowel conditions, including monitoring, support with prescribed programs, and emergency care if required.
- Complex Wound Management – Dressing, cleaning, and monitoring of chronic wounds, pressure injuries, or surgical sites to promote healing and reduce infection risk.
- Urinary Catheter Management – Safe insertion, routine maintenance, hygiene, and troubleshooting for both intermittent and indwelling catheters.
- Subcutaneous Injections – Administering prescribed medications such as insulin and supporting participants with ongoing management.
- Medication Management – Recording, administering, and monitoring medications safely and in compliance with care plans.
- NG and PEG Feeding Management – Nutritional support through nasogastric (short-term) or percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (long-term) feeding tubes, including care, cleaning, and monitoring of the equipment.
